Koreans rule

With 3 Korean teams in the semis, it is likely to be just the Koreans in the Final. H2K, from EU, seems to be the last hope to break the curse of Koreans winning Worlds since 2012.

Since we already have the finalists for the Final I am just gonna talk a bit about the struggle of most teams against Koreans. I can say that the skill level of the players in this tournament are not that much different, but it can affect a little bit in some way. League of Legends isn’t like Dota2 where one can just carry the game so teamwork is more important than individual sill.

One obvious thing that makes Koreans better any other region is their practice routine. They practice time is between 10-16 hours per day basically they just sit in front of computers  and play game for… that long. On the other hand, NA and EU don’t practice that much, usually 8-10 hours max per day. They have other activities to do besides gaming like gym, vacation, movies, and things normal people do. I have to says Koreans are impressive but I have to agree to how NA and EU teams treat their players because gaming can be stressful, a lot of streamers have depression after several years of streaming even though they make a lot of money from it.

Who would have thought H2K would get wrecked by SSG in the semis. they got out of C by beating every team in the group at the second leg, including SSG. They could have played better in the semis. The first 2 games was disastrous for them and they could have done something to prevent that. After losing the first game H2K still didn’t make any counter plays or picks that give them advantage, instead they just gave SSG almost everything they are comfortable with.

Game 3 wasn’t even a contest. SSG rolled H2K like a sushi and throw it in a gutter with their shotcalling. H2K’s top laner, Odoamne, looked so strong against those teams in the same group but not to SSG. The biggest problem for H2K in this game is the Top and Mid got outplayed in the early game which put Ryu and Odoamne behind. Objectives fell uncontested and H2K was forced to fight so many times they didn’t have time to think and got played. Odoamne seemed to just give up this game when he got ganked a couple of times. He even got the counter pick but somehow manage to lose lane.

Everyone would think that SKT has a lot of advantage going up against SSG but in LCK they never lost to SSG. CuVee and Crown are really looking forward to the match against SKt because they desperately want to prove that they can be the best of the best. SKT have 1 problem and it is their Jungler, Blank. In the semis they put Blank in game 2 and 3 and they lost all to games until Bengi decided to show up and make the comeback against ROX. It will be very tough for SSG if they mess up in the early because SKT know how to play when they are ahead but if SSG’s teamfights are good enough there is a chance for them to best SKT.
